Lost your job?  Consider your next life in the beer industry.

A surprisingly large number of people have been starting microbreweries or brewpubs according to an article in today’s Wall Street Journal.  Schools that teach brewing are overflowing with people interested in getting into the business.  And sites like Beer Advocate are seeing an insane amount of traffic as interest is increasing.  Even Drink American is on a tiny uptick.
Last year 114 microbreweries and brewpubs opened in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association. The group estimates 200 microbreweries and brewpubs already are on the drawing board for the next few years.
